I'm Grace, a Bristol based producer, director, and photographer.
In my filmmaking I focus on telling documentary stories that highlight social justice and climate based issues, such as plastic pollution and climate anxiety. I enjoy developing factual stories, taking them from initial ideas all the way through to finalised edits, collaborating with other filmmakers who have the same passion for documentary storytelling. I have a great love for the outdoors, nature, and conservation - moving forward I aim to use documentary production to promote the protection of vulnerable people and our planet, and spur audiences to support positive change.
Alongside the short films I direct, I work as a freelance producer and general production manager for short form productions. I love helping shoots move from initial ideas to production smoothly, and hope to continue building my experience working on increasingly complex shoots. Tied in with this role, I am passionate about involving sustainable production methods on each shoot I am involved with, as I believe sustainability behind the lens is just as important as in front of the lens.
Lastly, I also enjoy photography again using a documentary lens to capture moments as they happen naturally. For this reason I enjoy photographing places that I travel to, events, film shoot BTS, and gigs.
